Graham is a farmer’s son who had a passion to become a vet at a very early age. Having qualified at Bristol in 1966 he went to work in Kenya for eight years before returning to work in mixed practice in Norfolk, where he has been ever since. He has never fully retired. He still performs various locum and charity work as well as writing in the veterinary press. He carries out face to face and virtual teaching assignments. His second career is writing. He has published five textbooks and over twenty novels.
