Katrina graduated from Glasgow University in 2010 and worked in predominantly farm animal practice before moving to SRUC Vet Services in 2014. She obtained the RCVS certificate of advanced veterinary practice in 2016.
Katrina works in Dumfries, in southwest Scotland, an area with a high density of dairy cattle and a high prevalence of salmonellosis. She has a clinical interest in Salmonella Dublin in particular and has also carried out research on the prevalence, diagnosis, and control of salmonellosis.
