Rachel is an EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology. She graduated from University College Dublin in 2012 and then completed a rotating internship at Mississippi State University. Following this, she worked in first opinion practice in the UK for two years before completing a cardiology residency and Masters by Research at the University of Edinburgh in 2019. She has worked in both private referral practice and academia, and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at the University of Edinburgh. She now splits her time between caring for dogs and cats in clinics, conducting research, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. It is with great delight that I now welcome and hand over to Rachel.
